Gracen busy at her desk in Jess's office this morning.... TGIF babe!

We think her 'color board' of sticky notes was inspired by a set of work recently framed, Karlen's Color / Shape Series on paper.  Come see new work in the studio soon!

Did our best with the 'pinhole' technique, but mostly just waiting for our photographers to send over their pictures from today!

Hemingway doesn't super care about this once in a lifetime event.

Pulled some framed acrylics out of hiding and onto the main stage this morning!  In the process of refreshing our studio walls, so excited to see final results.

Freshening up our studio and had fun helping Janet Orr assemble her over-sized ceramic sculptures!  Fully custom in size + coloration, they even do well outdoors.

Offering 'art solutions' as a service can often mean collaborating with several artists and craftsman to get an exact look.  Below: specialty printers were enlisted to produce a Dave Wilson image on un-varnished wood panel, which local artist Judith Dauncey has hand-embellished to lend the final 'pop' of dimension that can be lost when printing on certain substrates.  Stay tuned for the result!  Judith is painting live in studio today.

It takes a village!

This week we're grateful Jonelle Davis delivered our reupholstered studio armchairs, newly off-limits to Hemingway.  Our install crew kept us posted on gallery wall hanging at Mastro's Steak 48 Chicago.  Testani Design Troupe did a beautiful job.  As the week goes on we expect a few more artists to drop in and swap samples, stay tuned for some exciting collaborations...

Sedona artist Deb Strong Napple beat the heat with the cool pastels
prominent throughout her plein air series.

Here are a couple we had framed for the studio - notice how Tru Vu glass fronts go
completely undetected - no glare to distract from the art!

Usually we like our miniature pieces, but recently we seem to be serving up 'oversize' like it's the flavor of the week!  Union Jack flag came out to 10' wide, and 'Bella' barely fit through the door.  Stop by the studio to check out Art Holeman's 'Street Sweeper'.
Residential: family heirloom, framed by artstudio 1.0.1

Soon to be installed in Steak 48 Chicago: AS, Night Life | Raffin, Bella
